I'm new to homeschooling, just a couple of weeks now. I've been praying on it for a long time now and my prayers have been answered. I'm out in the western part of the state and am aquainted with a large group of homeschoolers out here. I'm excited and just feeling things out for our daily routine.

Hi Melanie! Welcome to homeschooling! It's wonderful that you are already acquainted with other homeschoolers. When I first started a few years ago, I had no one and I think that was one of the biggest obstacles for my family...not having a support group of some kind.

The fact that you are excited is a good start! Your routine will come...maybe not tomorrow or even by the end of the year, but it will come! Some people start out with a routine and others change their routines from year to year. I think every family finds "their groove" in their own way.

Please feel free to come here with any questions and/or suggestions you may have!

    Nice to meet you
